At In Home WellCare Academy, our vision is to redefine CNA training in Rhode Island by setting a new standard for excellence in healthcare education. As we work toward becoming a DOH-approved training program, we’re driven by a commitment to go above and beyond, preparing CNAs who are skilled, confident, and ready to lead in patient care.
Please note: We are not yet approved by the Rhode Island Department of Health (DOH) and cannot accept student applications at this time. Stay tuned for updates on our progress.
A Higher Standard

While Rhode Island requires 120 hours of training for CNAs, our vision extends beyond these basics. We aim to create a program that:
Offers small class sizes for personalized attention, ensuring every trainee masters essential skills.
Uses modern hospital beds and interactive classrooms to provide a cutting-edge learning environment.
Incorporates feedback loops, where trainees can share insights to continuously improve the program, fostering a culture of growth.
Preparing Leaders in Care
Our goal is to train CNAs who don’t just meet state standards but exceed them, becoming leaders in their field. We focus on developing critical thinking, encouraging trainees to assess patient needs proactively and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
A Legacy of Impact
We envision a future where our graduates are known for their exceptional care, contributing to a stronger healthcare community in Rhode Island. By emphasizing excellence in every aspect of training, we’re building a legacy of skilled and dedicated CNAs.
