Why DOH Approval Matters

The Rhode Island Department of Health (DOH) approval process ensures that Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training programs meet rigorous standards for quality education and student preparation. For In Home WellCare Academy, this approval is a critical step to ensure our students can take the state competency exam, become certified CNAs, and join the Rhode Island Nurse Aide Registry, paving the way for rewarding careers in healthcare.

Where We Are in the Process

We are currently in the process of submitting our application to the Rhode Island DOH, ensuring that all requirements are met as we finalize this step. According to the Rhode Island DOH, the approval process for initial applications typically takes six to eight weeks once submitted. Our application includes a curriculum, instructor qualifications, and plans for clinical training, which we are finalizing with a state-approved healthcare facility. We are fully committed to complying with all standards, and our team is dedicated to providing a premium learning experience with modern hospital beds, interactive classrooms, and hands-on training at our facility located at 959 N Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
