No. In Home WellCare Academy is currently pending approval from the Rhode Island Department of Health. We are not enrolling students or offering active training programs at this time.

We are proud to serve Rhode Island’s healthcare community from a central, accessible location.
The academy was founded by Alexander Flores, Bismark Colón, and Kilvia Garcia, a team with deep roots in home care, community leadership, and caregiver training.
Once approved, we plan to offer a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program, including classroom instruction and hands-on clinical experience. All curriculum will meet DOH requirements and state standards.
Yes. Graduates of our approved program will be eligible to take the state CNA exam and apply for licensure.
We focus on compassion-first education, combining technical skills with emotional intelligence, mentorship, and real-world learning. We prepare caregivers not just for jobs, but for meaningful careers.

Yes! We welcome referrals to our interest list. It’s a great way to stay connected until we receive approval.
While we cannot guarantee employment, our goal is to support students after graduation with job-readiness, interview prep, and connections to care providers. We also plan to offer continuing education once licensed.
